Systems mapping: barriers facing people experiencing multiple disadvantage
When: 25th January 2022 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am
- This event has passed.
Join Fulfilling Lives Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham and our research partners NPC for a webinar exploring systems mapping.
The event will focus on using systems mapping as a tool to understand barriers that people experiencing multiple disadvantage encounter when trying to access support.
We know that the homelessness, criminal justice and health systems often don’t work for people experiencing multiple disadvantage. As part of the Fulfilling Lives LSL research partnership, NPC has worked with people with lived and learned experience to build an understanding of what influences the recovery journeys of adults experiencing multiple disadvantage in Lambeth, Southwark, and Lewisham.
They have used this insight to develop a map of factors that influence the support available to people, including both factors around the experience of services, the underlying drivers shaping this and opportunities for change.
This event will explain the process of mapping the system, introduce the map that the team has developed, and share the key findings from the mapping process.
This event is delivered as part of our research partnership with NPC.
