Informed approaches: becoming trauma, gender and culturally informed

When: 25th November 2021 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

  • This event has passed.

Join Fulfilling Lives Lambeth Southwark and Lewisham (FLLSL) for a discussion on becoming informed on trauma, gender and culture as an organisation.

An ‘Informed Approach’ is the collective understanding of how trauma, gender and culture impacts on a person. The approach recognises the importance of building and maintaining relationships when people access services.

This talk will introduce key concepts, some lessons learned and general insights into how to start the journey of becoming an informed service.

The event will also highlight the Informed Approach Champions project, initiated by FLLSL, which supports individuals to become role models and help embed a culture of change within their own teams and organisations.

Attendees will have the opportunity to contribute to a Q&A with the panel at the end of the session.
